In 2016, one of the major trends is multiple ceramics. In fact, there has been an explosion of ceramic!
In fact, various styles coexist whose popularity has been revitalized: geometric, concrete, imitation materials. What has been identified as new in 2016 is the “used” look, in other words, the effects of wood, stone or cement aged by time.
“Another look that has returned is imitation metal sheets,” states Kristina Panzera, Director of Marketing at Ciot.
There is also the reappearance of patterns in ceramics, with Portuguese or Moroccan influences.
Sandrine Lucier and Anne Tremblay confirm that “Cement tiles are popular again, in rosette or geometric patterns. They can be used both on walls and floors. What’s interesting is that patterns also work on furniture, wallpaper, dishes, and even tabletops.” A must!
